While Apex Legends launched as a battle royale for teams of three, it looks like solo players and pairs will soon get their time to shine. Datamined game files show the existence of “Solo Mode” and “Two-man Squad”.
The data was courtesy of Fortnite data miner ShiinaBR who has revealed it via a separate Twitter account that is dedicated to Apex Legends. Beyond the existence of the two modes, nothing else is known about them.
I just posted my first Apex Legends leak. If you are interested in upcoming game modes, you should definitely check this out!
(Also sorry for the amount of Apex posts at the moment, but there is nothing to leak in Fortnite right now, and the update is still 4 days away.) https://t.co/ofPS9KGtgN

Apex Legends has been extremely successful despite being so young. In about a week, the game has amassed a total of 25 million players. The highest number of concurrent players has also hit a new high, at two million.
Beyond that, we still have another game by Respawn in the queue, due between late September and late December. But oddly enough, publisher Electronic Arts is not calling it Titanfall 3 but referred it as a “premium” Titanfall game instead.
