For the past few weeks, Vivo has begun to hint the release of its new phone series – the V15 – in Malaysia. This is being done through plenty of marketing materials throughout the company’s official social network and video channels for our market.
It generally began on 22 January when the company uploaded this particular teaser video to its Facebook which then followed by Vivo Malaysia’s YouTube channel on 23 January. Fast forward to 7 February, Vivo revealed the devices as V15 and V15 Pro through this short clip:

The company then confirmed the imminent arrival of V15 series into Malaysia by posting a clip featuring the famed local singer which is also Vivo’s ambassador, Siti Nurhaliza:
For now, the company is still keeping the actual launch date, retail availability, and price of the V15 series in Malaysia as a secret for the time being. Nevertheless, Vivo has stated in a response to our query that consumers in Malaysia don’t have to wait too long to see the V15 series in action themselves.
As you can see in all of the official clips that Vivo has posted online, one of the main attractions of V15 series is its 32MP pop-up selfie camera. Other than that, Vivo’s official website for India has also stated that the V15 Pro comes with a triple rear camera that includes a 48MP sensor.
Despite the unique front camera apparatus and impressive-sounding sensor specs, the V15 series will come with up to Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 mid-range chip which is not exactly surprising since V series does indeed represent Vivo’s mid-range offerings. Nevertheless, other rumored specifications still sound quite substantial including up to 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage and 3700mAh battery as well as 6.39-inch FHD+ display and in-display fingerprint scanner.
We should be hearing more details regarding Vivo’s new V15 series very soon as we get closer to its debut that will take place in India on 20 February. So, stay tuned.
