AMD may not have been able to provide us with the official SRP of its new high-performance Radeon VII graphics card, but it looks like its AiB partner, ASRock, has just let the cat out of the bag about its pricing. On top of that, we were also able to gain minor insight over when ASRock intends to release the card.
According to an industry source close to us, the brand will be releasing the card under its Phantom Gaming GPU line in Malaysia sometime during this month. On the subject of price, ASRock Malaysia revealed on its official Facebook page that its own variant of the card will be retailing at an SRP of RM3299 at launch.
Mind you, the Radeon VII in question will not be sporting any third-party cooling solution. Rather, it will just be a standard Radeon VII with the same triple-fan reference design, just with ASRock’s branding plaster on it.
The Radeon VII is AMD’s latest and most powerful high-performance graphics card. Built on a second generation 7nm Vega GPU architecture, the graphics card comes with 16GB HBM2 graphics memory; a base and peak boost clockspeed of 1400MHz and 1800MHz, respectively; and a 1TB/s memory bandwidth.
To learn more about the Radeon VII, you can read about our first impressions about the card. We’ll also be releasing an in-depth review of the card in the near future, so do keep an eye for that.
