As Samsung’s Unpacked event at San Francisco draws closer, new leaks and rumours are starting to appear online at more regular intervals. The latest leak comes in the form of multiple images of what appears to be the Galaxy S10+ flaunting the anticipated in-display fingerprint scanner.
According to SamMobile, the source of these live image leaks surprisingly originate from Saudi Arabia, and not from China or some country in the EU. That aside, the images clearly show the purported Galaxy S10+ in all its glory with its triple rear camera setup and its dual punch hole Infinity Display.
More importantly, one of the images actually shows the phone with its screen turned on. And if you take look closely at the bottom of the display, you can see the location of the phone’s in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Samsung Galaxy S10+ is expected to be one of three Galaxy S10 models to be announced at the brand’s official Unpacked 2019 event on 20 February. Based on the reports and information that we have, we at least know that the upcoming flagships will be fitted with variations of Samsung’s Infinity Display, a triple main camera setup, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC or the brand’s Exynos SoC equivalent at that time.
Additionally, the Galaxy S10+ is also expected to be one of the first smartphones to ship out with support for the new WiFi 6 standard. Otherwise known as 802.11ax.
