Given its status as not only the company’s first ever device to feature the increasingly popular punch hole design but also its first phone with a 48MP camera, View20 helps HONOR enter the new year in a big way. After its global launch in Paris earlier this week, the phone is now officially available in Malaysia.
As you might already know, View20 comes in two different variants for our market: one features 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage while the other one offers 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The model with 8GB RAM can be obtained exclusively in Phantom Blue colorway while the 6GB model is available in Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black.
Aside from these differences, they share the same specifications including 6.4-inch Full HD LTPS display and powered by Huawei Kirin 980 processor. As mentioned earlier, the phone is equipped with a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor for its rear camera that is being enhanced by the artificial intelligence capability of Kirin 980’s dual NPU and ISP.
The View20 also features a time-of-flight (TOF) 3D camera that delivers additional capabilities to the phone’s main camera through depth sensing, skeletal tracking, and real-time motion capture. Completing the phone’s general specifications is a 25MP in-screen selfie camera and a 4000mAh battery.
Price-wise, the new HONOR View20 with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage can be obtained immediately in Malaysia for RM 1999 while the 8GB/256GB model goes for RM 2499. To learn more about the new phone, do check out our initial experience with it right here.
