Several weeks ago, we reported that the HONOR View20 would officially be launching in Malaysia sometime this month. We now have confirmation from a trusted source that the HONOR will specifically bringing it next premium flagship device into the country on 26 January.
It makes sense that HONOR Malaysia would launch the View20 on that date, especially when you consider the fact that the brand will be hosting its global launch event four days prior in Paris, France.
To recap, the HONOR View20 is a premium smartphone, and one of the first devices on the market to be fitted with the new 48MP f/1.8 Sony IMX586 camera sensors. Other hardware specifications include Huawei’s Kirin 980 SoC, between 6GB and 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB of non-expandable storage.
Beyond that bit of information, we still don’t have any information on the View20’s local pricing, bundles, or special packages at launch in Malaysia. Guess we’ll just have to wait until the supposed launch date to find out more about the phone’s pricing.
Until then, you can find out more about the phone by checking out our writer’s hands-on and first impression of the View20, which we managed to play around with a little more than a week ago.
