It’s only been a little more than three months since the launch of the OnePlus 6T, and already rumours of its successor, the OnePlus 7, has also begun rearing its head online. One rumour and picture in particular now hints at the phone sporting a notchless display and a front-facing camera hidden by a sliding mechanism.
The image, which was first posted on the Chinese social platform, Coolapk.com, which shows both the OnePlus 6T and the alleged OnePlus 7 smartphones. Both phones are encased in white cases; a fairly standard method that is used in the smartphone industry to conceal the design of a phone that isn’t quite ready for showing off to the masses (just yet).
At a glance, it seems clear that the upcoming flagship looks slightly bigger, if not taller than its predecessor. On top of that, the notchless display of the supposed OnePlus 7 also seems to be sporting a more pronounced curved display glass than its predecessor.
Mind you, this leaked image isn’t concrete evidence that the OnePlus 7 is real, and until the parent company of the phone actually officially speaks about it, it would be best to take this with a large grain of salt. Of course, if the rumours and leaks of the phone does turn out to ring through, the phone will be the third flagship smartphone to feature a slider mechanism and design. After the Oppo FIND X and the more recent Mi MIX 3.
