Two months after the phone made its global debut, Huawei has brought over another variant of Huawei Mate 20 Pro into Malaysia. This particular model features 8GB RAM instead of 6GB as per existing variant that already available in Malaysia since 27 October.
Additionally, this variant also offers a larger storage space of 256GB as opposed to 128GB. However, it can only be obtained in Twilight colorway which is not exactly a bad thing.
Other than the memory and storage differences, you are still looking at the same flagship device that is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 980 processor and features a curved 6.39-inch 2K+ OLED display. It also comes with a tri-camera on its back that includes a 40MP wide-angle f/1.8 camera as its main snapper alongside a 20MP ultra wide-angle f/2.2 and 8MP 3x telephoto f/2.4 cameras.
On its front, the Mate 20 Pro also features a 24MP selfie camera that is accompanied by a set of sensors to provide it with the 3D Depth Sensing feature. Completing the general specifications of the phone is a 4200mAh battery.
Price-wise, the Mate 20 Pro with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage goes for RM 3999 which is RM 400 more than the standard 6GB/128GB variant. Available for pre-order right away, customers will receive a Huawei Wireless Charger and a tripod stand alongside their new device when Huawei Malaysia shipped it starting from 22 December onwards.
