The Samsung Galaxy A8s is quite possibly the second worst kept secret of 2018, after the Google Pixel 3 series smartphones. Samsung China officially announced the phone less than two hours ago, along with all the details that has more or less been permeating the internet for the last week.
As promised, the Galaxy 8s’ front is near a near bezel-less, 6.2-inch 19.5: 9 Infinity-O display, featuring a cutout at the top-left for the phone’s selfie camera. At the rear, the phone is seen sporting three camera sensors. Specifically, these sensors comprise a 24MP f/1.7 main shooter, a 10MP f/2 2x optical zoom lens, and a 5MP f/2.2 depth sensor.
In terms of hardware, the Galaxy A8s features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, and will come available in either 6GB or 8GB RAM, and a 128GB internal storage capacity.
All this information was derived from Samsung China’s official e-store. At the time of writing, there’s still no word as to when or even if Samsung Malaysia would even consider bringing the phone into Malaysia.
