While Intel recently launched its Core i9-9900K CPU and Basin Falls Core X-Series HEDT CPU, a new rumour suggests that Intel will be releasing the follow-up to latter – codenamed Basin Falls – sometime during the third quarter of next year. Along with an unveiling during Computex 2019 next year.
The rumour comes by way of a slide that was recently leaked to leakster site Videocardz. To be precise, the slide displaying the roadmap of Intel’s upcoming HEDT CPU was leaked by the same site that reported on AMD’s X570 chipset and its support for the new PCIe 4.0 standard.
The same slide also lists down the B365 and H310C chipsets. Both of which will be catered to the PC enthusiasts who isn’t looking to break the bank. As mentioned in our earlier report, the slide seen here is several months old, and there isn’t a lot of information about the new CPU series beyond the slide.
Until then, we do advise you apply a liberal dose of skepticism until an official announcement from Intel
