The government earlier today has officially launched the new unlimited monthly travel passes for Rapid KL which was first announced during the tabling of Belanjawan 2019. Now officially called My100 and My50, these passes can now be activated starting from today onwards.
That being said, users are only able to utilize them starting from 31 December 2018 according to the FAQ section for these passes on MyRapid’s official website. These passes can only be used with MyKad and MyTentera cards that have built-in Touch ‘n Go functions as well as MyRapid concession cards for students under the age of 12.
Valid for 30 days including weekends, the name of these passes corresponds to their prices. For RM 100, My100 provides users with unlimited access to LRT, MRT, and Monorail together with Rapid KL buses, MRT feeder buses, and BRT. As for My50, the unlimited access is limited to the bus services mentioned earlier with the exception of BRT.
The My100 and My50 activation can be done through Rapid KL Customer Service Office at all LRT, MRT, Monorail, and BRT stations. Alternatively, it can also be done at Rapid KL bus hubs in Pasar Seni, Seksyen 2 Shah Alam, Sri Nilam, Greenwood, and Terminal Kajang.
