While Samsung and Huawei are teasing their punch hole smartphone, Lenovo may be the first manufacturer to have one ready for the market. Leaks of the Lenovo Z5s are out on the internet with the prominent cutout shown as clear as day.
The phone was listed previously on TENAA, the Chinese certification body as the Lenovo L78071. The specs list features a 6.3-inch display, a triple camera arrangement, a 3210mAh battery, but no processor nor RAM/storage information. Although it’s rumoured that the phone will house Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8150 SoC, making it a flagship-level smartphone.
Further, the existence of the phone was confirmed by Lenovo VP Chang Cheng directly on Weibo, so its existence is no longer vague.

As seen in the video, Lenovo has eschewed the notch and the display seems to wrap around the camera cutout in the middle. The bezel also seems to be of a minimalist design, and seems to be as edgeless as the display and body allows.
The Lenovo Z5s, if it ever comes to Malaysia, will be the company’s first notch-less and triple-camera equipped phone. That said, the phone will most likely see a China release first before the brand even thinks of bringing it to the global stage.
