Back in September, Microsoft announced that it will be working with Razer to enable keyboard and mouse support for its Xbox One family of consoles. Earlier this week, the company teased a new set of peripherals. This almost coincides with Xbox’s support for keyboard and mouse going live.
There’s little else known about the set, but according to the Razer’s campaign page, it looks like the brand will be announcing something at CES 2019, which will be taking place in January of next year.
From the image, though, it looks like a traditional keyboard that’s been given a mousepad that slides out from the side. This already makes it significantly different from the brand’s previous lapboard combo, the Razer Turret. The mouse looks a lot like the Razer Mamba, but it could also be a different one entirely. That said, the new item could only just be the keyboard, and the mouse is added to go with the mousepad.
At any rate, we’ll just have to wait until 8 January 2019 before we get more details on the supposed lapboard. Assuming, of course, that is what the product actually is.
