It looks like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is finally coming to the PlayStation (PS4), after being available on PC and mobile for the longest time. Also, seeing how its PlayStation, there are some PS-exclusive stuff to be had if you pre-order the game from the PS Store.
There are three versions of the game up for grabs. The first is what’s called the Challenger’s Edition, the most basic of the bunch. Pre-order this, and you’ll get the PUBG Miramar Theme, a PUBG PSN avatar, an outfit modeled after Uncharted‘s Nathan Drake, and a backpack skin reminiscent of the backpack used by Elle in The Last of Us.
The next tier is called the Survivor’s Edition. This comes with all of the above, as well as 2300 G-Coins, 20000 Battle Points and a Battle Pass. Topping that is the Champion’s Edition, which comes with 6000 G-Coins instead, and everything else found in the Survivor’s Edition.
PUBG for the PS4 is slated for availability starting 7 December 2018. The price for the three editions that are available for pre-order are RM111, RM185, and RM223 for the Challenger’s Edition, Survivor’s Edition and Champion’s Edition, respectively. Hopefully this comes with all the improvements that the PC version has gone through.
