After a month since the launch in Indonesia, OPPO’s sub-brand Realme has finally made its presence official in Malaysia. The company sealed its arrival in our market by launching three devices earlier today including the Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, and Realme C1.
In terms of specs, it looks like the Malaysian variants for all three devices share the same specs as per Indonesian market. Specifically, the Realme 2 comes in two different memory and storage configurations while Realme 2 Pro can be obtained with three such options. Realme C1 on another hand is available with only one setup.
With that, all we need is the price of each device, and that’s exactly what Realme announced today. The Realme 2 comes with a price tag of RM599 and RM699, for the 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB models respectively with all of them will be available starting from 24 November 2018.
As for Realme 2 Pro, it is priced at RM849, RM949 and RM1099 for the 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB, and 8GB/128GB configurations respectively. This particular model will be released exclusively through Shopee starting 11 November.
Since the release coincides with the 11.11 sale carnival, the new phone can be obtained for slightly less during its launch day:
The last but not least, the Realme C1 will be made available exclusively on Lazada for RM449. There is also an RM50 discount for the Realme C1 during the first 30 days of its release in Malaysia, making it even more affordable at RM399.
These prices make these phones, especially the 8GB variant of Realme 2 Pro during the 11.11 sale, really appealing. If you are considering getting one for yourself, check out our initial thought on the Realme 2 and Realme 2 Pro.
