There is very little doubt that Fortnite is one of the world’s most popular battle royale titles in the world right now, and is widely available on virtually every digital ecosystem. In the case of the Nintendo Switch portable console, the game has been downloaded by nearly half of all the brand’s currently existing Switch users.
Nintendo made the announcement during a recent financial briefing, stating that one of the primary reason that the game’s reception has been so good is because it is the only current-gen console that it allows players to bring their game with them wherever they go.
Of course, that statement is inherently exclusive to just the Switch, and the same logic also applies to other mobile platforms, such as Android and iOS. However, what has contributed to the mass appeal of Fortnite on the Switch are the presence of its controllers.
