While the new MacBook Air alongside the equally new Mac Mini and iPad Pro might be commanding all the attention at the moment, Apple has actually slipped in something for MacBook Pro as well. In a media release earlier today, the company revealed that the laptop will be made available with new graphics options next month.
Specifically, the new graphics option come in the form of AMD Radeon Pro Vega GPUs. Prior to this, the MacBook Pro was only available with either AMD Radeon Pro 555X or Radeon Pro 560X and these options are also limited to the 15-inch models.
Apple stated that the new Radeon Pro Vega GPUs provide up to 60 percent graphics improvements. That being said, the company didn’t reveal further details regarding the specific Radeon Pro Vega GPU models that will be made available to consumers.
Nevertheless, they don’t have to wait long to know more about them though as the new Radeon Pro Vega options will be up for order starting from 14 November onwards. We not sure whether this is a global date or otherwise, so we’ll keep you updated once we receive further information from Apple.
