It looks like Apple isn’t anywhere near done with its product lineup for this year. Less than a month after announcing its new iPhone Xs series – and following in the footsteps of the recent Intel and Google events that took place in New York City – the fruit company has begun sending out media invites to its own event happening on 30 October 2018.
And yes: the event’s venue will be taking place in Brooklyn, New York. From the looks of it, all invitations feature a different design of the Apple logo, but its tagline “There’s more in the making” is the same across the board.
Source online are hinting that the event is when the company from Cupertino will unveil and speak about the company’s new iPad Pro. Along with its long-awaited refresh of its MacBook Air.
The new iPad Pro refresh is expected to come with several new features, which includes a display with slimmer bezels and the inclusion of Apple’s Face ID technology. In addition, it is also rumoured that the tablet will be the first of its kind to switch over from Apple’s proprietary Lightning port to the universal USB Type-C port.
Alas, information pertaining to the MacBook Air is still limited. It also remains unclear if the event will see Apple break the silence over reports of a cheaper and more affordable MacBook Air.
Guess we’ll just have to wait until 30 October to find out what Apple has in store for the Christmas holidays.
