It looks like MSI’s upcoming MEG series motherboards have been leaked. Folks at VideoCardz have spotted both the MEG Z390 Ace and MEG Z390 Godlike mainboards. MSI’s MEG series consist of the company’s highest tier motherboards; which means they are made for hardcore PC gamers and enthusiasts who’s looking to buy Intel’s Coffee Lake refresh CPUs.
MSI’s MEG Z390 Ace is the ‘cheaper’ variant of the two soon to be introduced motherboards. In terms of aesthetics, the mainboard comes with an all black PCB along with several silver-coloured components. In addition, the MEG Z390 Ace also has RGB elements—a feature which is expected on gaming-oriented motherboards these days.
The second motherboard in the MEG series is the MEG Z390 Godlike, which is, of course, much more powerful compared to the Z390 Ace. This motherboard comes with the same design as the Z390 Ace. That said, when it comes to specifications, the MEG Z390 Godlike is fitted with an OLED screen, a 18-phase power delivery, an M.2 expansion card, and a ‘streaming’ card.
Unfortunately, other detailed information like their specific key features and pricing were not mentioned. Despite this, we do expect MSI to release both these motherboards soon.
