Back at Computex 2018, ASUS brought forward its own take on gaming phone in the form of ROG Phone. However, the company took its own sweet time to roll out the phone into the market, but it seems like we might finally able to see it in Malaysia very soon.
Thanks to our tipster a.smithy who spotted the phone inside the agency’s database, it seems like ASUS ROG Phone has gone through SIRIM certification process. The phone was registered as its official model name, ZS600KL/Z01QD under Dynamics Distribution and ECS ASTAR which are known distributors for ASUS products in Malaysia.
Originally, the phone was said to arrive in Malaysia within July or August 2018. However, we are still waiting for its arrival in our market even though we are now already in the final week of September.
Then again, ASUS ROG Phone has just been released in China earlier this month. Not only that, it seems that the gaming phone might carry a hefty price tag which means those who are eager to get their hands on it should get ready from now onwards.
