Codemasters have recently announced the PC release date for its upcoming rally-oriented game, DiRT Rally 2.0. The developer mentioned that its upcoming game is based off of last year’s DiRT Rally 4, which had procedurally generated race stages along with much more general in-game mechanics.
The announcement was made by Codemasters in a trailer video which was posted on YouTube. Interestingly, the DiRT Rally 2.0 nomenclature is similar to the old Collin McRae Rally 2.0 game, which was released many years ago. Codemasters mentioned that DiRT Rally 2.0 will “pay homage to the prove, focused formula from the original DiRT Rally” game.
According to Codemasters, DiRT Rally 2.0 will be made available for PC gamers on 27 February 2019, through Steam. That said, gamers are able to pre-purchase DiRT Rally 2.0 for a modest price of RM95. The Deluxe Edition version of the game, meanwhile, is priced at RM130. Codemasters mentioned that there will be at least eight official WRX stages in DiRT Rally 2.0, including New Zealand, USA, and Australia.
