Images of Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 2 notebook were recently leaked online. Giving us a glimpse of what the successor of Microsoft’s first Surface Laptop will look like.
The images were first posted by MySmartPrice, and from the looks of it, the second iteration of the Surface Laptop 2 will be available in some striking colours. This supposedly includes a new all-black colour motif, which is suppose to replace the Graphite Gold colour variant of the original Surface Laptop. The other colours include Cobalt Blue, Burgundy Red, and Platinum.
Specs-wise, the Surface Laptop 2 is expected to be rocking Intel’s recently announced Whiskey Lake CPUs. It should be noted, however, that it is unclear if the Surface Laptop 2 will be using Whiskey Lake CPUs made specifically by Intel, or CPUs that were outsourced to TSMC.
Besides that, the Surface Laptop 2 is expected to retain the same 13.5-inch PixelSense touch display as its predecessor, along with the same native 2256 x 1504 pixel resolution, and 3:2 aspect ratio.
At the time of writing, Microsoft did not make any statements regarding the leak. That said, its official Surface Hardware event is scheduled to take place this coming 2 October 2018. So we’ll just have to wait and see if these leaked images fit the bill then.
