It looks like PC gamers eyeing the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti will need to wait an additional week for the card to be available. Specifically, the GPU company from San Clara put up a post on its forums, stating that the general availability of the card has been shifted from 20 September to 27 September.
While it was not explicitly mentioned in the post, it seems that the delay in availability applies to both NVIDIA’s own Founders Edition RTX 2080 Ti, as well as the custom-cooled variants made by the company’s AiB partners.
So far though, it seems the push back seems to only affect the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. NVIDIA made it clear that its GeForce RTX 2080 is still on schedule for its 20 September availability. So, if you’re one of the many that’s pre-ordered the RTX 2080, you’ll still be getting the card at its initial launch date.
