True to earlier reports, Razer has finally given the Razer Phone 2 an official launch date. According to save-the-date invitations that were sent out by the media, the phone is slated to launch on 10 October 2018.
In addition to the launch date, the invitation also provides the itinerary about the event. One interesting detail to note is the green outline of the invitation’s border. Take a closer look at the left side of it, and you’ll notice the outline of bumps that look a lot like the volume rocker of what could be the Razer Phone 2.
It may be speculation, but there’s no denying that the outline does seem to match the outline of the leaked render which we reported yesterday. While no exact specification details have been divulged, it is expected that the Razer Phone 2 will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. While still retaining most of the features currently found on the first generation Razer Phone.
In any case, we’ll just have to wait until 10 October to see what Min-Liang Tan has in store for us.
