It’s been less than half a year since OnePlus launched its current flagship, the OnePlus 6. But fans are already waiting in anticipation for the phone’s follow-up: the OnePlus 6T. As it just so happens, leaked renders of the said phone recently popped up online.
If the rendered images are anything to go by, it would appear that the OnePlus 6T will still be sporting a notched display. But instead of a bar that takes up half of the top, the new display comes with a smaller teardrop notch situated right in the middle. The display design looks remarkably similar to the Oppo F9. Which is unsurprising, considering that OnePlus is actually a sister brand to Oppo.
Another render seems to suggest that the OnePlus 6T’s main camera array will be fitted with a vertically-aligned triple-camera system. Making it the second Android smartphone two sport such a camera array, after the Huawei P20 Pro.
While OnePlus has yet to provide an official release date for the OnePlus 6T, sources indicate that the company could be launching the phone in October. As always, the renders seen here are merely concepts, so until OnePlus makes an official announcement about the phone, we strongly recommend that you take this news with a large pinch of salt.
