So far, we’ve written two articles showcasing different Z390-based motherboards from Gigabyte. These are the Z390 Aorus Elite and Z390 Gaming SLI motherboards—both of which are full-sized mainboards. This time round, however, folks at VideoCardz have leaked a mini-ITX Z390 motherboard (also from Gigabyte) called the Z390 I Aorus Pro WIFI.
When it comes to design, the Gigabyte Z390 I Aorus Pro WIFI is, again, as its name implies, a mini-ITX motherboard. This means that it’s suitable to be placed into a compact PC chassis, given its relatively small size. That aside, this motherboard comes with an all black PCB along with several metallic silver coloured components.
Unfortunately, the key specifications and features of the Gigabyte Z390 I Aorus Pro WIFI were not mentioned by VideoCardz. That said, the tech site did mention one rather ‘odd’ feature of the motherboard. It comes with an interesting excerpt “support 8th Gen Intel Core processors.” It’s widely known that Z390 motherboards are made to cater for Intel’s upcoming 9th Gen Intel processors.
This could, of course, mean that the Gigabyte Z390 I Aorus Pro WIFI will support both 8th and 9th Gen Intel Core processors; or that it only supports Intel’s previous generation of processors exclusively. We’ll have to wait for the official launch of this motherboard to know for sure.
