The Kuala Lumpur Major was announced earlier today by Astro’s eGG Network, PGL and Imba TV, and is being touted as the largest Dota 2 tourney in the country. For those who keep up with the Dota 2 eSports scene, the tourney will be held from 16 to 18 November 2018 at the Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur.
A total of 16 teams will be battling it out on those three days for as big a cut of the US$1 million (~RM4.15 million) as possible. Qualifiers for these 16 slots are open to participants from all over the world. This includes Southeast Asia, China, Europe, Russia, as well as North and South America.
Ticket sales begin tomorrow at prices of RM180, RM330 and RM600. Depending on your chosen seat. All tickets will give you access to all three days of the tourney, but naturally the pricier ones will come with more perks, such as lucky draw entries, goodie bags and priority lanes.
