One week ago, we wrote an article regarding the leak of Gigabyte’s soon to be launched mainboard called the Aorus Z390 Elite. This time round, another mainboard from the company has been leaked, and it’s dubbed the Z390 Gaming SLI, which according to VideoCardz, is somewhat similar to the Aorus Z390 Elite.
When it comes to design, Gigabyte Z390 Elite comes with an all black PCB, along with several red and metallic silver accents as well. Interestingly, the component layout on this motherboard is largely similar to that found on the Aorus Z390 Elite. It’s not known whether the Z390 Gaming SLI features RGB lighting; but given that it’s a 2018 gaming motherboard, it wouldn’t be surprising to see some LEDs on the Z390 Gaming SLI.
That aside, as it’s name implies the Gigabyte Z390 Gaming SLI is made to cater for users who intend to “SLI” their Nvidia graphics cards. This means that this motherboard comes two PCIe x16 slots. That said, it should be noted that this motherboard is not positioned in the high-end segment of the market; since it doesn’t come with the “Aorus” branding.
Unfortunately, tentative pricing and release date for the Gigabyte Z390 Gaming SLI were not mentioned. But given the fact that we’re seeing more and more Z390 motherboard being leaked in recent weeks, the official launch date for these motherboards should be pretty soon.
