Barely a month after the honor Play was announced for the local market, the brand now has a special edition of the phone ready. It’s called the honor Play Player Edition.
Aside from the more rugged-looking back plate, the phone is identical to the standard honor Play as far as hardware specs go. it’s got the same Kirin 970 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space.
This is something that honor wants you to buy online though, as you get quite a lot more than just a back plate. If you get the honor Play from Shopee or its own Hihonor online store, you’ll also get an Ipega 9087 controller and some exclusive PUBG stickers in a limited edition box. That said, these are only available while stocks last.
With all that being said, what kind of price will you be paying for Player Edition? The magic number is 50, as the honor Play Player Edition is priced at RM1299 – RM50 more than the standard RM1249. Of course, the value proposition would be greater if you got all the extra freebies while they are still available. It will be available starting 7 September 2018.
