First shown to the world during Acer global launch event in New York earlier this year, the Acer Predator Helios 500 is one of the latest addition to the ever-growing Predator Gaming family. Released in Malaysia last month, this beastly gaming machine can be obtained in two different specifications.
The first set of hardware for Predator Helios 500 consisted of Intel Core i7-8750H processor, 16GB RAM, and 256GB NVMe solid state drive. For those who prefer to have even more horsepower, they can obtain the gaming laptop with Intel Core i9-8950HK processor, 32GB RAM, and 512GB NVMe solid state drive.
Both Predator Helios 500 variants come standard with 17.3-inch full HD IPS display that has native 144HZ refresh rate and support for NVIDIA G-Sync technology. Not to forget, they have also been equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics with 8GB of VRAM alongside a 1TB hard drive.
Price-wise, the Core i7 model is listed at RM 8,999 while the beefier Core i9 model goes for RM 12,999. For more information, check out our initial hands-on experience with Predator Helios 500 right here or visit Acer Malaysia’s official website.
