If you missed the news last week, NVIDIA has finally unveiled the new generation of its gaming-centric graphics cards which is positioned under an all-new series called GeForce RTX. Immediately after the announcement, several OEMs have announced their support for the new cards including Dell.
While Dell has plenty of gaming desktop products under its wings, the new cards will be made available only on Alienware Area 51 and Alienware Aurora for the time being. This doesn’t really come as a surprise though since these two models are generally among the most powerful gaming desktop systems made by Dell.
According to the company, both models will be receiving all three cards from the GeForce RTX series: the RTX 2070, RTX 2080, and RTX 2080 Ti. However, the exact details regarding their specs and pricing are not available at the moment.
Then again, Dell has stated that it will be releasing the Alienware Area 51 with the new GeForce RTX options starting from early September onwards while pre-order for the GeForce RTX-based Alienware Aurora will also be opened at the same time. As for their release in Malaysia, we’ll keep you posted once we heard any update from Dell.
