As a recap, news of the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 first appeared online nearly a month ago. According to the report, the phone would sport top-of-the-line hardware, which included a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, water-cooling, and a 6.18″ Full HD+ notched and bezel-less display.
Camera-wise, the main camera sports a dual 12MP + 5MP array, while the front-facing camera is a 20MP sensor that comes complete with Xiaomi’s “Super Pixel” technology.
The phone is slated to arrive on our shore on 30 August 2018. Further, Xiaomi will only be bringing in two models, which are the 6GB / 64GB and 6GB / 128GB configurations. The official SRP for both variants are RM1237 and RM1428, respectively. The phones will be available in two colours – Graphite Black and Steel Blue.
Be advised however, that these prices will increase to RM1299 and RM1499 respectively from 10 September 2018 onwards. This is due to the implementation of the Sales and Services Tax (SST).
