True to its promise, OPPO today has launched a brand-new device in Malaysia in the form of OPPO F9. As detailed previously, the new device brings together a number of new characteristics to the popular F series of devices including the VOOC Flash Charge tech which previously only made available on OPPO’s higher-end products.
Built with 3500mAh battery, the tech allows the phone to obtain 2 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes of charging. Also making its debut into OPPO F series via F9 is dual camera setup and in the case of this particular phone, it comes with 16MP and 2MP sensors.
On the front part of F9, there is also another 25MP selfie camera which is housed within a waterdrop-shaped display notch. The notch’s minimalistic design allows the company to obtain 90.8% screen-to-body ratio for the 6.3-inch full HD+ display on the F9.
Speaking about the design, the phone also offers gradient colorway with flower petal design on its glass-covered back. As for its processing power, the F9 is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 and in Malaysia, the unit also comes standard with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
Priced at RM 1399, the new OPPO F9 is available for pre-order immediately through OPPO Malaysia’s dedicated online store or through its official online store on Lazada, 11street, and Shopee. OPPO Concept Stores and Authorized Dealer Stores throughout Malaysia are also accepting OPPO F9 pre-orders from today onwards.
Alternatively, customers can also place their pre-orders through Celcom BlueCube, Senheng, SenQ, and Courts outlets. For Maxis and Digi customers, they will be able to obtain OPPO F9 directly from their respective telcos on 30 August itself.
