While the phone will only be rolled out to stores later this month, today marked the official launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in Malaysia. Alongside our first hands on experience of the Samsung’s latest Note device at its global unveiling event in New York City last week, we also had the opportunity to unbox one of the very first few Galaxy Note 9 unit in the market.
As you might already know early on, the new Galaxy Note 9 comes equipped with 6.4-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display and is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 9810 processor for our market. The RAM for this phone correspond directly with its internal storage’s options as the 6GB RAM variant comes with 128GB storage while the beefier 8GB RAM model offers 512GB storage.
The IP68-certified phone also offers a dual rear camera setup that comes with a 12MP sensor that features a lens with dual f/1.5 and f/2.4 aperture alongside another 12MP sensor with f/2.4 2x optical zoom lens. For selfies, the Galaxy Note 9 depends on its 8MP f/1.7 autofocus camera.
Together with a brand-new Bluetooth-based S Pen, the Galaxy Note 9 is also equipped with 4000mAh battery. Priced from RM 3699 onwards, don’t forget to check out our hands-on experience with the new phone right here.
