Earlier this week, Xiaomi has just pulled the curtains off its latest tablet, the Mi Pad 4 Plus. Essentially a Mi Pad 4 with a larger screen, the new model also carries a bigger battery.
Specifically, the Mi Pad 4 Plus has a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a ratio of 16:10. As for the battery, it is rated at 8,620mAh which should be enough to allow the tablet to run throughout the day.
Powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chip as per its smaller sibling, the tablet can be obtained with internal storage of up to 128GB. Come standard with 4GB of RAM, Xiaomi has also brought over the same 13MP f/2.0 rear camera and 5MP f/f2.0 selfie camera from Mi Pad 4 to Mi Pad 4 Plus.
Interestingly, Xiaomi will not be selling a Wi-Fi only variant of Mi Pad 4 Plus which means that LTE connectivity comes as standard for the tablet. Price-wise, the 64GB model is listed at CNY 1,899 (RM 1,128) while 128GB variant goes for a CNY 2,099 (RM 1,247) sticker price.
For now, it is not known whether Xiaomi will release Mi Pad 4 Plus outside of China but of course, one can always hope to see it being made available officially in Malaysia.
