All things considered, the leak about GIGABYTE Aorus’ B450 motherboards last month were pretty accurate. Furthermore, those AMD B450-based boards – the B450 Aorus M and B450 Aorus Pro – are now actually available in Malaysia.
True to the leak, the B450 Aorus Pro does come with two M.2 slots and six SATA 3.0 6Gbps ports. However, the motherboard actually comes with just one PCIe x16 3.0 slot instead of two PCIe x16 3.0 slots as per original report; alongside two PCIe x16 2.0 slots.
Being a microATX motherboard, it is rather natural that the B450 Aorus M features less amount of slots than its ATX sibling. For example, it is equipped with just one M.2 slot as well as a PCIe x16 3.0 and a PCIe x16 2.0 slot each although the motherboard still comes with six SATA 3.0 6Gbps ports.
Despite the difference in sizes and price (more on that later), both motherboards do share a number of features together. Among them are the Hybrid Digital Power Design and M.2 Thermal Guard alongside RGB Fusion lighting, support for digital LEDs, and Hybrid Fan Pin Headers.
Price-wise, the B450 Aorus M is priced at RM429, while the B450 Aorus Pro has a RM509 price tag. These boards are also available now throughout Malaysia as well as through on GIGABYTE’s LazMall Flagship Store on Lazada.
