Still remember the BlackBerry KEY2 Lite that we reported few weeks ago? More information regarding the device have been leaked out which further strengthen the previous rumors that we have been hearing about the upcoming phone.
The render, shared by Android Police, shows a device looking similar to the KEY2. It bears all the highlights of the Blackberry KEY series which includes the QWERTY keyboard, a front fingerprint sensor in the spacebar, 4.5-inch screen, and the new dual camera module on its back.
However, the keys look not as premium as the KEY2. While unconfirmed, Blackberry and TCL may have also removed the touchpad function from the keyboard for KEY Lite which is also known as KEY2 LE.
The housing also looks plastic, echoing the earlier report that the phone will be featuring plastic chassis instead of metal. Other cutbacks include the use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636, a smaller 3000mAh battery, 4GB of RAM ,and a 13MP + 5MP camera at the back.
Meanwhile, no release dates have been hinted for the new KEY2 Lite/LE model for the time being. So we have to wait and see if this will be the mainstream model Blackberry fans have been looking out for.
