If you’ve been wanting to get your hands on the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, you’ll be happy to know that Sony has quietly launched the phone in Malaysia. And contrary to our earlier reports about its pricetag, the phone is currently retailing at a price point of RM3499.
The phone quietly popped on the company’s official product page. The page lists down the phone’s specifications, along with the two colour variants that will be available in Malaysia, Chrome Black and Chrome Silver.
Specs-wise, the XZ2 Premium will feature a 5.8-inch 4K (2160 x 3860) HDR display, a Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and a 3540mAh non-removable battery. The highlight of the phone, however, is its dual 19MP + 12MP Motion main camera array. Making it the first Xperia smartphone to sport a dual camera setup.
As mentioned, the Xperia XZ2 Premium is already available for purchase via company’s official page. In conjunction with its availability, Sony is giving out a pair of wireless noise cancelling headphones worth RM609 for free, along with a casing and screen protector for the phone.
