Months after MSI unveiled its PS42 Prestige notebook back at Computex 2018, the device is now available for purchase in Malaysia. Dubbed as a “Creator PC”, the PS42 Prestige is a notebook created primarily for the professional workforce.
To be fair, The PS42 Prestige has been available for purchase in the country for a few weeks now, and is being sold exclusively through SenQ. On that note, the configuration that MSI is currently bringing in comes with an Intel 8th generation Core i5 CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce MX150 discrete GPU, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and 256GB NVMe SSD.
Internal hardware notwithstanding, the PS42 Prestige is still ultra-light at 1.19kg and also sports and ultra slim form factor with a thickness of just 15.9mm when closed. Price-wise, the notebook currently retails at an SRP of RM3949.
It should be noted that MSI did tell us that it would be bringing the model that comes with an Intel 8th generation Core i7 CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 into Malaysia at a later date, though it fell short of providing any specific date.
