Here’s something we didn’t expect from Neffos today. During the launch of its X9, C9 series and C7A smartphones today, the company unveiled the P1, it’s first ever smartphone with a built-in projector.
Specifically, the phone uses a laser projector. It’s a smart move by Neffos, considering laser projectors are technically more efficient than the conventional projector, as it doesn’t have a bulb to worry about. To power it up, Neffos gave the phone a large 4000mAh battery.
At this point, it should be pointed out that Neffos isn’t the first company to come up with the idea of a mobile device with a built-in projector. To date, both Samsung and Lenovo are two prominent brands that have designed and released either a smartphone or tablet with a built-in projector.
Sadly, there’s not much else we can tell about the phone at the moment. According to Neffos, the phone is still in its prototype stage, so any hardware specifications that we saw in the phone today is not set in stone and could change in the finalised version of it.
