With gaming smartphones slowly on the rise, it appears that Samsung may finally be wanting to jump on to the same bandwagon. According to a serial leaker from China known as 萌萌的电教 (@MMDDJ_), Samsung is apparently in the midst of preparing its first gaming smartphone.
While there isn’t any concrete evidence to support the tweet by 萌萌的电教, multiple reports have pointed out that the leaker is something of a credible source, and has been known to post relatively accurate information about unreleased products in the past.
The surge of interest in gaming smartphone can be credited to the Razer Phone; Razer’s first gaming smartphone. After its release, Xiaomi launched its Black Shark gaming smartphone, followed by ASUS with its ROG Phone back during Computex 2018.
BTW,foldable smartphone isn't named Galaxy X. https://t.co/kb7TEDlrdL

Curiously, 萌萌的电教 followed up the tweet with another, hinting that Samsung’s yet-to-be announced foldable smartphone won’t be called the Galaxy X. That tweet alone hints at the possibility that the Galaxy X moniker isn’t exclusive to Samsung’s foldable smartphone, but could instead be used as the official name for the rumoured gaming smartphone.
Once again, 萌萌的电教’s tweet is lacking proof to back this claim, so it’s best to take this news with a grain of salt, at least until Samsung itself gives affirmation to the rumour.
