After making its global debut in Paris just few weeks ago, OPPO has recently launched its new flagship, the Find X in Malaysia earlier this week. While it going to be a while before the phone rolls out into retail store as it will only be released into our market on 5 August, our team managed to get a brief first look at the device during the launch event.
As a refresher, the main highlight of the phone is what OPPO dubbed as the stealth 3D cameras which uses a motorized system to push the camera upwards when activated. By making the camera section of the phone hidden when not in use, it allows Find X to deliver a full screen experience without the notch that is commonly associated with phone that comes with such display.
The camera section contains a combination of 16MP and 20MP sensors for its rear camera. There is also 25MP sensor for the front camera which is also equipped with an array of other sensors that help strengthen Find X’s face 3D Face Recognition security feature.
Other than that, the Find X is also equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, 8GB of RAM, 256GB internal storage, and 3730mAh battery. It also supports the company’s own VOOC fast charging technology which allows it to achieve full battery capacity in 90 minute.
Now available for pre-order, the OPPO Find X is priced at RM 3699. We’ll take a closer look at the new phone for our review soon enough but for the meantime, don’t to forget to check out our YouTube channel for more videos!
