Besides Armaggeddon and Sonicgear, Leapfrog also had products to announce under its Alcatroz brand. Specifically, the Jellybean A2000 wireless keyboard and Pebble Air wireless mouse.
The Jellybean A2000 is actually a wireless keyboard and mouse combo. Both devices are outfitted with a 2.4GHz wireless transmitter, and are powered by AAA batteries. The keyboard itself features a slim profile, and its keys are UV coated, rounded, and are designed for soft and silent typing. The wireless mouse uses an optical sensor, and has a sensitivity rating of 1200 dpi.
Next on the list is the Pebble Air Wireless Mouse. Besides using Bluetooth 3.0 and 2.4GHz wireless technology, this mouse is also an ambidextrous device, making it perfect for both a left-handed or right-handed user. Additionally, its sensitivity is rated at a maximum of 2400 dpi.
Unlike the mouse that comes with the Jellybean A2000, the Pebble Air come with a 600mAh rechargeable battery that can last a total of 20 days on a single charge. Lastly, another main appeal of the mouse is the sandstone texture that wraps the top of the accessory.
At the time of writing, Leapfrog Distribution, the official distributor of Alcatroz device, did not provide us with SRP for the Jellybean A2000, but did say that the price for the Pebble Air will retail for less than RM59 when it arrives in Malaysia.
