Apple has officially announced that it has refreshed the MacBook Pro with a number of new components that allow it to deliver more performance than ever before. Among them includes the new six-core and quad-core 8th Gen Intel Core processors.
Specifically, customers can now obtain the 15-inch MacBook Pro with up to six-core Intel Core i9 processor while the 13-inch model goes up to quad-core Intel Core i7 processor. At the same time, the 15-inch model can now also be equipped with up to 32GB of RAM.
Other than that, Apple has also implemented True Tone display technology on the display and Touch Bar of the newly refreshed MacBook Pro models. They are also equipped with Apple’s own T2 chip that provide secure boot and encrypted storage as well as the support for “Hey Siri” to these notebooks.
Not to forget, these notebooks are also equipped with 3rd-generation keyboard that is apparently quieter then its predecessors. That being said, they are still using butterfly key switches which could caused some concern among users since Apple has recently launched a free repair program for users that faced sticky key issues on the previously released MacBook and MacBook Pro which feature the same type of key switches.
These newly refreshed MacBook Pro with Touch Bar are generally available from today onwards although their actual availability and pricing depends on each individual markets. We are going to touch on their availability in Malaysia through another article shortly, so stay tuned.
