Huawei just launched a couple of new tablets in Malaysia: the Huawei MediaPad M5 and M5 Pro. If you’re looking for a new, high-end Android tablet, these two devices may pique your interest.
Let’s start with the bigger device of the two, the MediaPad M5 Pro. It features a 10.8-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS display, a Huawei Kirin 960 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, and a large 7,500mAh cell.
Aside from that, the M5 Pro also comes with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing shooter. It has a quad-speaker audio system too, along with EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 out of the box.
As for the MediaPad M5, it’s largely similar to the M5 Pro, except for a couple of hardware differences. It’s equipped with a smaller 8.4-inch display of the same resolution, a dual-speaker system, and a 5,100mAh battery.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 and M5 Pro are pretty interesting high-end tablets, and they retail at RM1,499 and RM1,899 respectively – the M5 will be available on 13 July, while the M5 Pro arrives later on 25 July. Those who purchase the M5 will also receive a “specially-tailored” gamepad, while the M5 Pro is bundled with a flip cover.
