True to the rumors, Microsoft has officially revealed the latest addition to its Surface family in the form of Surface Go. Claimed to be the smallest Surface to date, the company also stated that this is the most affordable model in the family at the moment.
Featuring a 10-inch PixelSense display with a native resolution of 1800 x 1200, 3:2 aspect ratio, and support for the optional Surface Pen, the general design of Surface Go is not far off from the existing Surface Pro. Equipped with Surface’s signature kickstand that can be extended to 165-degrees, the new model is powered by Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor and can be obtained with up to 8GB of RAM as well as 128GB solid state drive.

Other than that, the device is also equipped with USB 3.1 Type-C port for charging, video, and data alongside Windows Hello camera, microSD card reader, and 3.5mm headphone jack. There’s also the traditional proprietary Surface Connect port that be used for charging too as well as docking. Microsoft has also release a new Signature Type Cover to match the new tablet.
Available for pre-order in selected markets starting from today onwards, the 4GB/64GB version of the device will go for USD 399 (about RM 1604) while the 8GB/128GB model is listed at USD 549 (about RM 2206). Just like the existing Surface Pro that was released last year, users have to purchase Surface Pen and Type Cover separately.
