Detailed specificaions for Intel’s 9th-generation Core 9000 series have officially been confirmed. According to Videocardz, the upcoming Core 9000 series will have a total of new CPUs ranging from the Core i3-9100 up to the Core i5-9600K.
Moreover, the new 9th-generation will still be made using the current Coffee Lake CPU architecture, but will referred to as Intel’s Coffee Lake S lineup. According to Videocardz, the new CPUs will see an average increase of 200MHz in performance over its predecessors, while still retaining the same TDP of 65W. In addition, the new Core i3 SKUs also retain a 4-cores, 4-threads configuration, while the Core i5 SKUs will have the 6-cores, 6-threads configuration.
It should be noted that the list seen here does not state down the specifications of Intel’s 9th-generation Core i7 or Core i9 CPUs, but it is expected that the semiconductor maker will be announcing a new Core i7-9700K and Core i9-9900K alongside its upcoming Z390 chipset.
