When TM said that today’s briefing will be special, the company was not kidding indeed. In addition to the new entry-level unifi 30Mbps plan and unifi Turbo plans, TM has also revealed that it will be providing special package upgrade for customers that on pre-unifi (previously known as Streamyx) plans.
Just like the two other announcements, TM didn’t reveal much regarding this so-called special package upgrade. Among the information that company has shared during today’s press conference is that customers are able to check for their eligibility to upgrade starting from 15 July 2018 on unifi’s official website.
Not to forget, the package upgrade will only be offered to those in areas that are covered by unifi because customers will be migrated to unifi plans if they choose to accept the upgrade. TM has stated that it has begun to reach out to such customers in order to offer the said upgrade to them.
As mentioned earlier though, TM didn’t specify what kind of upgrade that these customers will receive though. We’ll do our best to obtain further information regarding it at the upcoming media briefing by the company on 12 July.
