It seems that AMD’s upcoming CPU, Ryzen 3 2300X, has been spotted in the wild. In addition, the alleged benchmarks of the aforementioned processors has also been leaked. Interestingly, the leak was posted by a user on Chiphell’s forums, who apparently managed to obtain and benchmark the processor earlier than anyone else.
For those who may be out of the loop, AMD’s Ryzen 3 2300X is a four core, four thread processor that is based on the company’s Zen+ architecture and 12nm process technology. According to sources, this CPU will come with Radeon’s Vega graphics solution. Currently, only the Ryzen 5 2400G and Ryzen 3 2200G feature Vega graphics.

According to the leak, the AMD Ryzen 3 2300X is capable of base and boost clock speeds of 3.6GHz and 4.2GHz respectively. In addition, like previous Ryzen 2000 series processors, the Ryzen 3 2300X will also have a TDP rating of 65W. Besides that, this CPU managed to score 690 in the Cinebench R15 benchmarking tool.
It should be noted that the Ryzen 3 2300X in this leak ran on a Biostar X370 motherboard. Regardless, we do advice our beloved readers to take this with a grain of salt; especially since this came from a forum user.
