Judging from the early buzz regarding the phone, it seems that OPPO Find series return into the market through Find X has grabbed a lot of attention from consumers throughout the world. Not enough with that, OPPO has also unveiled a special version of the phone via a collaboration with the famed Italian supercar maker, Automobili Lamborghini.
In general, the Find X Lamborghini Edition has the same components as per standard Find X model. We are indeed looking at the same 6.42-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 3730mAh battery alongside dual rear camera with 16MP and 20MP sensors as well as 25MP selfie camera.
However, the Find X Lamborghini still have several features that separate it from the standard Find X variant. Among them is its physical design which come in the form of carbon fiber-like texture underneath its glass body as well as engraved Lamborghini logo that apparently has a suspended 3D-like effect.
The launch of the phone also marks the debut of OPPO’s SuperVOOC fast charge technology which the company first revealed at Mobile World Congress 2016. As opposed to standard VOOC specifications which able to fully charge the standard Find X variant in 90 minutes, the SuperVOOC tech on Find X Lamborghini Edition which utilizes 10V5A charging specs and has maximum charging voltage of 50W takes only 35 minutes.
Other than that, the phone also comes with a larger internal storage space than a standard Find X at 512GB. Not to forget, OPPO has also provided a different and specialized themed packaging for the phone to suit its status as a Lamborghini-themed device.
Given these differences, it is not surprising to see that the Find X Lamborghini Edition costs much higher than a standard Find X which already costs around RM 4,600. During the launch event in Paris, OPPO stated that the phone will go on sale for EU 1,699 which translates to around RM 7,878 although not exact release time frame was revealed at the event.
